It focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health. Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches. Chiropractic is scientifically based, has well researched benefits and is practised worldwide.
Shockwave Therapy
Spinal Decompression
Accelerate Healing with Shockwave Therapy;
A shockwave is an intense, but very short energy wave traveling faster than the speed of sound. The basic technology involved with extracorporeal shockwave technology has been used for decades on millions of people. Therapy sessions are short, usually 20 – 30 minutes in length, and provide successful relief of chronic pain and restores mobility painlessly. Permanent relief typically begins about 72 hours following treatment.
Spinal decompression is a type of traction therapy applied to the spine in an attempt to bring about several theoretical benefits including:
-
Create a negative intradiscal pressure to promote retraction or repositioning of the herniated or bulging disc material.
-
Create a lower pressure in the disc that will cause an influx of healing nutrients and other substances into the disc
Both traction and decompression therapy are applied with the goals of relieving pain and promoting an optimal healing environment for bulging, degenerating, or herniated discs. Watch an informative video explaining the theory of Spinal Decompression below:
Massage therapy can be used for the treatment of both acute and chronic conditions. RMTs can work with a wide variety of patients, of all ages, in the treatment of illness, injury rehabilitation and disability. Massage Therapists today use their knowledge of physiology and anatomy to combine traditional Swedish and modern massage therapy techniques with other therapies to treat their clients. There has been a wide variety of research, published in peer reviewed journals, proving the benefits of massage therapy for various conditions.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on an ancient philosophy that describes the universe, and the body, in terms of two opposing forces: yin and yang. When these forces are in balance, the body is healthy. Energy, called "qi" (pronounced "chee") flows along specific pathways, called meridians, throughout the body. This constant flow of energy keeps the yin and yang forces balanced. However, if the flow of energy gets blocked, like water getting stuck behind a dam, the disruption can lead to pain, lack of function, or illness.

Laser therapy utilizes superluminous and laser diodes to irradiate diseased or traumatized tissue with photons. These particles of energy are selectively absorbed by the cell membrane and intracellular molecules, resulting in a cascade of complex physiological reactions, leading to the restoration of normal cell structure and function. The process is curative and therefore results in the elimination of symptoms including pain. In addition, it enhances the body's immune system response and facilitates natural healing. The therapy is completely safe and has no adverse side effects.
