**We kindly request a 'no shoes' policy, you are welcome to wear socks/barefoot/bring your own slippers; we have real wood flooring, and we like to keep the salt, dirt, rocks and grime from our floors and equipment as much as we can**

Please let us know before your appointment if you are wanting to use your MSP coverage (10 visits in a year) as we have to check online if you are approved.

Direct Billing

Dr. DuBois does not direct bill to your insurance company - we will provide you with a receipt that you can submit online to your insurance company.

ICBC Chiropractic Treatments: You get 25 approved treatments in the first 12 weeks of your MVA.

Any treatments after the 25 are up, or the 12 weeks are up will require an extension request which the Dr. will fill out.

Spinal Manipulation Treatment

A variety of sports and personal activities can adjust your spine out of alignment; the spine is designed to protect your nervous system. Accidents, injuries, poor posture, and a variety of sports and activities can alter the alignment of our spines.

The spinal cord and its self-contained nervous system are put under pressure by these misalignments, which are called spinal subluxations. An injured spinal column can interfere with your nerves when pressure is applied to it.

As part of your day-to-day life, you are well accustomed to these pressures. Spinal subluxations, however, can create an environment that prevents the body from functioning efficiently, whether the condition is acute or chronic.

Without treatment, the body adapts to the situation as best as it can, but every adaptation costs your body's efficiency. When your body is subjected to chronic disease for long periods of time, it manifests itself in debilitating physical symptoms.

The most common of these create symptoms such as back spasms, upper back and neck pain, headaches and tension, shoulder pain, sciatica and pinched nerves. Believe it or not misalignments in your spine can also cause allergies and we treat a variety of other conditions as well.

Spinal Decompression is a type of traction therapy applied to the spine in an attempt to bring about several theoretical

benefits including:

Create a negative intradiscal pressure to promote retraction or repositioning of the herniated or bulging disc material.
Create a lower pressure in the disc that will cause an influx of healing nutrients and other substances into the disc
