Why did Dr. Dubois become a chiropractor?  Here is his story:

"I was doing what all kids do... playing outside climbing trees, running jumping and falling ... the next day I couldn't move my legs!!!!  My mom was freaked... I could feel my legs; they had good circulation but could not move them.  My mom rushed me to the medical doctor and he was unsure of what to do and sent me to a specialist.  After two weeks of being carried around from one specialist to another I was scheduled for exploratory surgery as no answers to this mysterious problem where evident.  A friend suggested chiropractic. My mom carried me in and ... I walked out!!!!!

I was young and though I was concerned and confused as to why I could not move my legs, I was happy to stay home for a few weeks from school and build models on the couch.  The true impact of Chiropractic did not really hit me until I was 21 yrs old.  I was riding my motorcycle when a car hit me.  I was thrown onto the hood and into the window of the car and performed some flips in the air before landing on the pavement, or so witnesses reported.  I just remember waking up in the ambulance.  To make a long story short I injured my shoulder, neck and back and had a concussion so after months and months of unproductive therapies I turned to Chiropractic as it had helped me when I was younger.  It took some time as my injuries where significant but after receiving regular chiropractic care my spinal problems and my pain slowly disappeared.  As a great side effect of the Chiropractic care, those nasty headaches I had had since I was ten where cured.I decided then that I would be a chiropractor so I could help others heal naturally and enjoy the immense benefits of regular chiropractic care.

I attended university at Simon Fraser University graduating in 1994 and enrolled in Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa to continue my education.  By 1998 I had graduated and was in private practice.

I was born in New Westminster and schooled locally.  I attended Simon Fraser University graduating in 1994 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. I then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa graduating with honors in 1998 as a Doctor of Chiropractic."

Yun Lee, B.Sc., R.Ac.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta, specialized in Molecular genetics, my personal experience with Traditional Chinese medicine motivated me to pursue studies of Oriental-based medicine. I graduated as a registered acupuncturist from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ICTCMV) after 4 years of intensive study. It includes traditional oriental medicine diagnosis and disease patterns, internal medicine, acupuncture, Chinese herbology and Chinese massage.

My treatment focuses to balance the body, mind and spirit in achieving one’s health by providing a natural ability to heal itself through different techniques.

Common medical problems that I often treated by acupuncture include muscular-skeletal injuries, acute/chronic pain; digestive disorders; gynecological, geriatric and pediatric issues; depression and insomnia.
